Once A Dancer, Always A Dancer!

I started dancing at just 3 years old and I’ve loved it ever since. Even now I no longer dance professionally, movement is still a huge part of my every day life.

I created Ballet, Dance & Fitness (the original name for Dance Flow Lift) in 2013 after I decided to put my performing career to one side due to injury and I became interested in the world of fitness.

Later that year, I had the opportunity of training with London’s leading barre workout company, barrecore, which dramatically increased my knowledge and teaching confidence. I now consider barrecore to be my full-time occupation and look after the Hampstead studio as Lead Instructor.

Always wanting to educate myself further, I recently received my Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management, and am now training for my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, both exciting areas that I hope to complete and launch in late 2017.

Dance Flow Lift is evolving to incorporate all of my favourite things…dance, yoga, gym, fitness and overall healthy living. I want to encourage people to lead happy, balanced lives and to try new, challenging things. Blog posts will include the ups and downs of life as a self employed fitness individual, my personal goals and achievements, food ideas, new classes / workouts to try and studio reviews. I am also an ambassador for Sweaty Betty.
